You will not get much for $600 in a plasma cutter. Save your money and buy
a larger 220V unit. My first one was a 110V Miller that would cut 1/4, but
it was maxed out at that. VERY messy cuts. By the time I cleaned up the
cuts it was faster to use a grinder on anything thicker than sheet metal. I
sold it and bought a bigger 220v unit and love it!! You want a sever
thickness of at least 1/2 inch to make clean 1/4 cuts. You will be around
$1200 up for a decent one that will clean cut 1/4". You can not buy one any
cheaper which will do much good on anything other than sheet metal.
