[BFix] 5.8 1995 F150 MAF compatible with the Mustang HO?

I am working on a 5.8 SEFI install.   The motor is a stock '95 California
F150 5.8L which ran an EEC-V OBD computer and 19lb injectors.  I am
converting to 89 - 93 HO stuff.

I have purchased a GT40 lower (Scott at ABCO) and a Cobra upper.  Jim Smith
donated the IAB.  I have an A9L computer.

The F150 MAF has an oval connector similar, but not exactly the same as the
Mustang MAF.  

The only difference with the connector on the MAF is that the guide tab on
the F150 MAF is on the narrow end of the connector and the Mustang MAF
connector (Ryan's harness) has the guide tab on the broad side of the oval
connector.  

Do you all think the F150 MAF is compatible?  If I shaved off the guide tab,
would it work correctly?
