I'm considering using a 90 elbow that Summit sells along with a flex hose. I know it's kinda ghetto; think that'll do it?

I did some magic with a couple of flex hoses and joined them with copper pipe and fittings in the middle. It might be worth buying a couple of hoses and getting some help from another set of hands. Have the GTO hose too but never made it fit quite right.

I did one other thing when I installed the BC steering box that might help you. As the new box mounted it hit the corner of my aluminum radiator. I wanted to lift the radiator a bit. I bought a new set of rubber mounts for the radiator and cut them up so they fit inside of the old rubber mounts. I had to drill a new hole for the top mounts but I managed to raise the radiator about ½ to ¾ of an inch and I think that helped the top hose routing for me. I have been off road since and it is a solid fit.

Good luck. I’ll be tracking you down some day when I do AC for some tricks.

Hey guys, I'm finishing up my BCB's a/c install and find myself in a tight spot between the radiator inlet and the p/s pump belt (I have 2" of clearance. I think I need an 90 elbow from the radiator and a flex hose to clear this setup. I'll post some pics on b'fix in a sec. I sure could use some ideas that don't involved welding and moving the core support out. thanx, MickThis e-mail is covered by the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18U.S.C.
