[BFix] OT geek help

The protection is for if I lose my drive so no one can pick up my drive
and possibly steal ideas. Not so much for viral infection type stuff.
Worst case I have to protect the entire drive but it would be nice to
have simple access to things I don't care if people see such as music,
pictures, homework ect.....

If you were on our network, you wouldn't be allowed to plug in a USB
drive 
on your work computer.   Not that no one does it, but 'officially' it's
a 
no-no.  There's no way to verify what is on the drive before it gets a 
chance to infect your machine.   Your best bet for keeping work/home 
separated is to have TWO devices and don't mix the data on them.   I am
not 
aware of a way to partition a thumb drive, but then, I haven't thought
to 
try it before now.......
