[BFix] Chevy caliper mounting bracket question

Probably not.  Most, if not all, of the 3/4 ton stuff uses a caliper bracket that is about 1" larger diameter than the 1/2 ton stuff.  Don't know for certain about '72 trucks though.

  Does anyone know if the caliper mounting bracket from a 72 3/4-ton chevy will work for the disc brake conversion? I can get one for $50 and spindles from a 1/2-ton for $50, which is economical, plus I would have the cores on the calipers which is around $40.
