So who decides which candidates are eligible for an equal slice of that
campaign pie? Will my Libertarian candidate get an equal share of it, just
like the socialists (Democrats and Republicans) get? What about the Green
Party guy, or Peace & Freedom? The problem with this strategy is that the
two huge socialist parties will implement it with rules that only their
candidates get to share in the pie. The other problem that I have with it
philosophically is that as Free Americans, each of us should be free to
spend our money on whatever or whomever we please. Telling someone they
can't give money to someone else is just furthering us down the path toward
total government control.

The problem with campaign finance isn't so much that the candidates and the
corporations put so much money into their campaigns--its that the SHEEP (my
fellow Americans who can't see past the plantation wall) hear their tripe on
TV or the radio and actually buy into it, then vote for these guys. I'm not
sure how to fix that. Generation after generation of indoctrination by
government schools has left most of us with an inability to think for
ourselves.

The unfortunate truth is that the three of them--Obama, Hillary, AND McCain
are so closely aligned politically as to be almost indistinguishable. We
have a choice between three socialists, which will eventually be whittled
down to a choice between two socialists, who want nothing more than to
further enslave you. And most of you will actually vote for one of the two.

I will once again vote for a loser in this election. I'll vote Libertarian
like always. Then I can look forward to another 4 years of being proud that
I didn't vote for the piece of shit we have in office.

(Been a long time since I jumped into one of these!)
