[BFix] Controversy and OT posts...

My apologies to those who are uncomfortable with a little spirited debate.
Those of you who've been around for a while will remember that B-fix evolved
out of the EBE list, which sort of evolved out of the NVB list many years
ago.  These lists used to be touted as an alternative to the strict "low
signal to noise ratio" that was maintained on the EBML (and the EBR-net
before it), and off-topic discussions from the silly to the serious have
always been welcome here.  I've always enjoyed the loose format here, and I
think its one reason why this list continues strong while the EBML has
withered.

Now I know many of you get uncomfortable seeing fellow Bronco brothers
bickering between themselves.  There are two things you can do though.  One,
hit the delete key if you find the content in any thread objectionable.  Or,
and this is what I suggest, go ahead and read it all and find the pure
entertainment value in it.  I've always loved a good melt-down here on the
lists, and whenever there's a good one in progress even if I'm not
perosonally involved in it, I look forward to the next salvo like a
housewife jonesin' for the next episode of her favorite soap opera.  But
there are always some kill-joys wanting to spoil the fun with calls of "hey
take it off-line" and "can we please get back to Broncos".  Like I say,
either hit the delete key or otherwise try to appreciate it for the train
wreck it is.  I know I keep a stash of microwave popcorn ready for just such
occasions.
