[BFix] FW: The new Socialism!

Jeff, It is hard to do it right when the vast majority of local employers
leave for Mexico and China. Then the outfits that are left drop wages to
compete with the foreign jobs. The company I work for slashed our pay 30% 3
years ago. I can not say that I haven't made some financial blunders ( I was
dumb enough to think that I could, instead of the $500 beaters I usually
get, buy a $12,000 car  4 months before our pay cut.Lost my ass on that
one). Am I without blame for my situation? No. But when you get 3 promotions
and end up making less because of pay cuts it is hard to plan.I don't expect
the government to take care of me, but in my humble opinion, it seems as
though they have made it tougher.Not to argue with anyone, just my opinion.

  He couldn't control a Republican run Senate and House either. I have yet
to hear about a filibuster since the Democrats took the majority. I'm
convinced that whoever gets elected to whatever they run for accomplishes
exactly nothing except maybe getting re-elected. I would like one person to
cite one thing they have done from either side. I think I'd rather 4 more
years of Bush than what's being presented. Show me term limits in congress,
line item vetoes, and a "fairtax" and I'll vote for that guy or gal.

  PS, Bruce, my Grandpa used to always say that same thing. But I'll say if
you had hard times from mid-2002 thru 1st quarter 2007 you just weren't
doing it right. Even our shadiest customers paid on-time during those times.
