[BFix] Help with mass air plug

I may have figured out why my truck was bucking and snorting periodically last year. Out of no where it would all of a sudden start losing speed and when I would give it gas it would die, usually all of this was proceeded by it kind of acting like it was running out of fuel.

Well I was changing the location of my mass air meter and filter when I noticed the red wire coming out of the back of the mass air meter plug is no longer connected and would freely slide in and out it's connection hole.

Anybody ever mess with one of these plugs or am I looking for a new plug and pigtail? How do they come apart or do they?
