[BFix] SEFI vs. throttle body injection

Can someone please tell me the real world advantages of SEFI?  I look at the
price tags on the Proflo systems and the like and shudder.  Are they really
THAT much better?  Seems to me throttle body systems would run at all
angles, and would hit the magic air fuel mixture as well.  Please don't tell
me about all the stock stuff that I can get from a junk yard for six
dollars.  I've read the how to's and seen the posts from the people that
have gone to the dark side and have a non running bronco because one little
wire shorts out under acceleration during left hand turns yadda yadda yadda.
