Spybot Search and Destroy is a good product and free. Adaware is a good
product too. Good luck and if you have questions let me know and I can help
you out. Spyware is dangerous. Some spyware can gather info such as
passwords to financial accounts and stuff like that. Be sure to keep a
close eye on the computer you use to do you banking on. Run scans
periodically, especially if you visit questionable sites. Kids sites often
put spyware on computers so if your kids use the computer a lot, be sure to
scan it often.

Here are some links to Spybot and Adaware.

Try spy bot first, it's free and takes care of a lot of stuff.

Hello All,
I am not sure what happened but I am being tormented with a popup that tells
me that I have a virus--then tells me to go to a particular website to by a
spyware killer thing. From the cable company I downloaded McAfee but it
doesn't do anything and the pop-up blocker isn't doing anything either.
Really buying $30 worth of spyware isn't what I want to do unless I have to.
Anyhelp would be great.

Thanks,
Matt
