[BFix] BURN THE FLAG (not really-just wanted to get your attention - have serious ?? on my 5.8 MAF tho)

Okay - I posted this a while ago and got some feedback but it has left me
still scratching my head.

My MAF is from a '95 5.8 california truck. This was an EEC-IV OBDI
computer. It is an oval connector but it is not the same as the oval
connector on the 5.0 harnesses. Go here for pics of the MAF and the RJM
harness:

The harness in the pic is actually being held upside down. The RJM harness
will not plug into the MAF. I would have to shave off all tabs and turn the
plug upside down to actually fit. The spade terminals are offset just
slightly to one side of the oval and the MAF is offset to the opposite side
as the harness.

Ryan has some other pigtails for other MAFs on his site but none match mine.

The way I see it, I have 3 options:
   1. Buy a cheap 5.0 55mm MAF on eBay and transfer the electronics to this
housing (hoping they are compatible)
   2. Cut the pigtail out of the original harness and try to figure out
which wire goes to where. Kinda sucks though because then this thing would
   3. Buy new MAF (not really wanting to spend the $$ though...)

Anybody know if the 5.0 MAF electronics will fit on this housing? If so,
anyone have an old MAF they will part with for cheap?

That would be the best option in my opinion so that the rig is 100% '89-93
5.0 EEC compatible.

Thanks for any and all guidance.
