Flag burning and my stance was actually covered a couple of years ago on the
list.

A persons right to burn the flag is protected under the First Amendment. As
is the right to a fair and speedy trial of the person who smothers the
flames with the corpse of the person burning the flag in the first place.

My afternoon is open

Good God..............you act like you were trying to pour cement without
proper reinforcing or something.

I’ve read the various responses to my recent post, and accepted the
thrashing, as appropriate. My first response was to try to explain myself. Of
course, as I considered the explanations, or more accurately, the excuses, I
realized they all sucked.

UB is right. I know I screwed up. I apologize.

However, since most of you have never met me, I feel compelled to tell you.
I believe firmly and completely in this country. I believe firmly in the
men and women who put their life on the line to defend this country and to try
to uphold our (The United States of America) values. I absolutely do not
condone burning the flag.
