[BFix] I want an electric car

I saw a thing at work that was small and electric. IT was fully enclosed so
the weather would not be an issue. It is a government vehicle that they use
to drive around post. I can try to get a name off it next week when I am
back if you are serious. Remind me next week if you don't hear back from
me.
I have seen several folks driving around in Polaris Rangers or something
similar. I don't know what kind of MPG they get but they look fun, and
probably get good mileage if that is what is driving your desire.
I would be interested to know what charging an electric vehicle would do to
the electric bill. I commute on a motorcycle and get close to 50mpg. I
have to fill my tundra up about once a month. So between the truck and the
bikes I probably spend about $100 a month on Gas.
Before purchasing any electric or hybrid technology I would do a cost
benefit analysis to make sure I was actually saving money.
Let us know what you find out.
