I put the HT HB kit on my 72/5.0/HO. No problem with the rod. The
only thing I did that is not common was after the install I did a vac
purge. Never looked back. The thing works as advertised. No break in
or change from the first day. My install used a new Corvette MC and a
new Sag pump with the Ford shaft and a tee in the return line. This
was exactly what Paul @ HT told me to do. This install was with disks
front and drum rear. Now it has all disks and is yet to be driven?
Paul said the specified MC would be fine.
Regards, Paul
