Makes me wonder why you can't use OD much with 38" tires and 5.13 gears.
My ZF isn't far behind the 700R4 for OD gearing, I'm running tires
(Swampers) that are a true 37" dia and I was driving everywhere in OD
(except long hills) with 4.10 gears. Now with 4.56 gears I'm running up the
hills farther before shifting down. This is with a 20 yr old 351W engine I
built back in '88. I'm planning on my new stroker getting me up those same
hills in OD. Course 450+ ft lbs of usable low end torque should help :)
Brian @ Columbia River Broncos...20 forward gears & 4 reverse to choose
from.
