Thom is right about the auto-return version! I used the manual ones daily
in my job for about 15 years and auto is the only way to go. Now that I
drive a desk I only use them at home, and mine are the manual flavor because
that is what I "bought" :)
I am going to have to look into this "clamp-tite" tool! Looks very handy!

My pliers came off the Snap-On truck. Cost a lot more than those do for
the same plier. You want the auto-return model. Trust me on this, don't mess
with the manual return version. Not a place to go cheep.
Good job on finding the "Clamp-tite" tool too. Good to not have to wait
for the next show & hope the guy is there if I need a replacement or a
different size.

I think TS had the standard ones. They look like linesmans pliers with
an attachment for twisting the wire. Every aircraft mechanic in the country
has a pair. Here are some cheaper ones:

And Snap-on brand:

I don't own a pair, but worked with alot of a/c mech. at one point, they
all seemed to have snap-on.

That is the tool I have had many years so mine is an older model but
the
same. You have to be careful to not over tighten soft things like
hoses
because the wire will cut the hose
