About every 5-10 years somebody discovers that, and markets it as the best thing since sliced bread. Are the OE engineers really that stupid? Capacitors have only been around for over a hundred years. You'd think that if it worked that it would have become common long ago.The coil puts out a set amount of energy. You can trade current for voltage (what the coil does), or you can trade voltage for current, but minus the conversion losses (ALWAYS) the total power stays the same.
