For a daily driver my fav tire by far is thg BFG AT. They wear great, pretty good offroad, quiet and handle well.

Subject: [ebml] OT me vs. fate vs. BFGs
Looking for some advice on tires, here's the situation.
I have a PU that is my daily driver. It has BFG rugged trails on it. These tires have 23,000, miles on them and I have had 5 flats. Of the 5 flats 2 have been in the sidewall and the tires were ruined. The tires are primarily run on the highway but go off road about 1 time per month in the summer. I'm not wheelin' these things hard or carrying heavy loads. Most of the time the "off road" is merely driving down a graded gravel road with the motorcycles in the back. What gives?
Am I just very unlucky or are these tires really that crappy? Or both?
I guess I'm looking for suggestions for new tires. Replace the BFGs or just suck it up and realize I'm very unlucky?
Thanks,
Brad
