After making my own NP 435 adapter, I have had several requests to make them for other people. I use a different approach than most of the other versions that are out there and am able to do it for a much lower price as a result. Essentially, I take the existing 3 speed adapter and the output bearing retainer from the NP 435, and cut them down and weld the 2 together. The trick is that it involves welding cast iron to cast steel. You need to use special welding materials and processes in order for it to work. So far, mine has held up for about 4 years and the others I have made are doing fine too.
