My Bronco isn't going to be driven much at all, but I'd like a good all-terrain tire that is comfortable on the road and handles well. But if I'm not gonna drive it daily, I don't want an expensive tire. Can you give me some recommendations? I'm looking for something in the 235 - 245 R70-75 16 range.

I would go online to Tire Rack and see what they have. If there is a Tire Factory or America's Tire near you they will match internet prices. If it's for the street you don't need anything to aggresive. JMHO.

Do you already have 16" wheels dax? Or are you running 15's?
Reason I ask is that I think most 16" tires are going to ride a bit stiffer than their 15 inch counterparts. Maybe people that are using them can give you better feedback, but it seems to me that most truck-sized 16 inchers are sporting some pretty stiff sidewalls.
Might be better for on-road handling perhaps. But might also ride noticeably stiffer too. And I'm betting that the better deals right now are on the 15's.
Just some more confusion to add to the mix.

Paul

Actually I've circled back to 15 inchers. Just seems easier and the 9.50X30s will do fine.
