lift and tire sizes

Post by bbronko » Sat Mar 08, 2003 3:26 am

On my last tire question I have received a few ideas to go with 37 " tires
. I have a 1972 Bronco with 3" body lift and a James Duff 3.5 inch
suspension lift , 5.8 EFI motor , ZF trans and a cut / flared rear fenders .
I need to get new gears / axles any way ( as I will need them when I get
bigger tires ) so will 37" ( actual size 36.7" ) Good Year MTR's fit with a
6.5" lift . I remember some were there was a chart with what tires fit with
what amount of lift on EB's but like heck if I can find it now . If you have
Any Pics of a EB with 37's please e-mail them to me or send me the URL as I
would like to see them . If the 37" tire does not pan out then I think I
will just go with 35" Good Year MTR's or 35" BFG mud terrain T/A KM's .
Thanks for everyone's help on the last topic . Have a good weekend . Frank .

37s Should fit just fine with your lift. I have 37/13-15 Boggers with 5.5
inch lift and 2 inch body lift. My tires clear even at full tuck front and
rear, with the normal fender trimming of coarse :-) Let me know if you want
some pictures.

All depends how you use your truck. for street and slow rock stuff,
they should be OK with minor trimming. if you are going to drive it
hard, baja style, you will soon learn that the floorpans will bend out
of the way on their own.
